PARENTS & CAREGIVERS!
Thank you for allowing us to spend time with your children! We are very excited to kick off VBS 2021. Your child will be having lots of fun and learning how to be a Superhero, about Superheroes in the bible and the ultimate Superhero - Jesus!
In addition, there will be lots of opportunity for FUN! And your child will be served dinner each evening.
MISSIONS CONTEST
We will be collecting missions’ offerings each evening to benefit Shiloh Christian Children’s Ranch. A home that provides care and support to abused, neglected or homeless children. THE FUN PART…We will have jars with pictures of our VBS helpers on them and the children get to choose which jar to put their offering in each night. The helper with the most offering in their jars by the end of the week gets a pie in the face!
FRIDAY FUN DAY
Friday from 6:00 – 8:30 we will have lots of fun activities including a WATER BOUNCE HOUSE so your child will get wet!
Please be sure your child wears clothing they are ok getting wet in and please bring a towel/beach towel to dry off. (And a change of clothes if they wish).
FRIDAY NIGHT LOCK-IN
Friday from 8:30 – Midnight we will have a lock-in for school aged children or younger children if accompanied by an adult.
We will continue our water games, watch a movie outside (make sure your child has a towel to sit on and a change of clothes if they wish), popcorn and snacks and other fun activities. We will be ending the night with songs and a campfire.
Please pick your child up no later than Midnight!
VBS COMMUNITY SERVICES & BBQ - Sunday August 1st (Punkin Show)
To kick off our VBS week, we welcome you to join us on Sunday August 1st at 10:30am. We will have a worship service at the Skidmore Ball Park followed by a community BBQ.
What to bring: A side dish or dessert. We will provide meat, drinks and service.
