PARENTS & CAREGIVERS!

Thank you for allowing us to spend time with your children! We are very excited to kick off the next 4 days of VBS. Your child will be having lots of fun and learning how to Live Fully Alive. That means your child will be learning about the following concepts. In addition, there will be lots of opportunity for FUN! And your child will be served dinner each evening.

1. Live like you know God is with you.

2. Live like God has a plan for you.

3. Live like Jesus is alive.

4. Live like people matter.

5. Live like you’re part of a bigger story.

MISSIONS CONTEST

We will be collecting missions’ offerings each evening to benefit Shiloh Christian Children’s Ranch. A home that provides care and support to abused, neglected or homeless children. THE FUN PART…We will have jars with pictures of our staff on them and the children get to choose which jar to put their offering in each night. The top staff members with the most offering in their jars by the end of the week gets a pie in the face!

FRIDAY FUN DAY

Friday from 6:00 – 8:30 we will have lots of fun activities including a WATER BOUNCE HOUSE and other water games.

Please be sure your child wears clothing they are ok getting wet in and a towel/beach towel to dry off. (And a change of clothes if they wish).

FRIDAY NIGHT LOCK-IN

Friday from 8:30 – Midnight we will have a lock-in for school aged children or younger children if accompanied by an adult.

We will continue our water games, watch a movie outside (make sure your child has a towel to sit on and a change of clothes if they wish), popcorn and snacks and other fun activities.

Please pick your child up no later than Midnight!

VBS COMMUNITY BBQ & BALL GAME - Sunday August 4th

We welcome you to join us on Sunday August 4th at 10:30am, we will have a worship service at the Skidmore Park followed by a community BBQ. In addition, your children will be showing off their songs they learned during VBS. After lunch, the kids and adults will be going head to head in a baseball game.

What to bring: A side dish or dessert, a ball glove for you and/or your child.
